This timeless, tailored tree skirt is crafted in a new heavy linen-look decorator fabric. It's beautiful cream color assures a neutral base with enough weave to keep it from being flat and boring.

With a nod to , I’ve finished the large sweeping hem and a curved overlay with a 3/4-inch band. Then adorned with 7 large covered buttons in the colors of your choosing.

These skirts measure a generous 54-inches in diameter. The buttons hold the decorative overlay in place with a finished and hemmed opening down the back.

For the safety of curious pets and toddlers, the buttons are attached through the two layers of fabrics with stainless steel cotter pins a plastic washers (see last picture). So without owning a needle you can rearrange the order if you prefer.

STYLING TIP: As with many decorator fabrics, this linen is heavy and drapey. If your tree stand has prominent legs, soften the lines of the legs by filling between the legs with batting or wadded up plastic grocery bags.
